Thomas Harris

Our experience with Thomas was very poor. A pipe burst in our kitchen ceiling and caused extensive damage. Thomas took over two weeks to come out, and when he did, his estimate didn't include replacing any of the water-logged cabinets or drywall properly. He kept referring to maintenance issues as if to deny parts of our claim. We fought it, and after involving an attorney, the insurance revised the estimate. But the stress and delays Thomas caused were awful.

I was the public adjuster on a fire claim where Thomas was the carrier's adjuster. It was exhausting. He was combative in every conversation and refused to acknowledge smoke damage in areas clearly affected by the fire. He also tried to depreciate items far beyond reasonable amounts, which felt like bad faith. We had to file a complaint with the insurance regulator. I've seldom seen an adjuster make a process so hard for a family trying to recover from a fire.

As a contractor, I worked alongside Thomas Harris on a roof claim from hurricane damage. Communication was challenging at first – he was skeptical of the full scope of work. Eventually, he did approve the main roof replacement but argued on extras like gutters. The job got funded in the end, but it took persistence. The experience was so-so from my point of view.

Thomas Harris was the insurance adjuster for our rainwater intrusion claim, and it was a disaster. He missed a lot of the water damage inside our walls and offered a token amount that didn't cover the repairs. We kept trying to explain the mold issue, but it felt like he didn't care. We ended up paying mostly out of pocket. Extremely disappointing service.
