Reviews for David Johnson
2 reviews from homeowners and contractors
I'm a contractor who worked on a hurricane damage repair where David Johnson was the adjuster. He was initially uncooperative — trying to patch a roof that clearly needed replacement. After a lot of pushing, he did authorize more funds, but only enough for half the roof. The process was drawn out and only partially successful. I've seen worse, but I've definitely seen better from other adjusters.
As a public adjuster on a large hurricane claim, dealing with David Johnson was infuriating. He seemed to deliberately stall the process and severely undervalued the extensive wind and rain damage to the property. We had entire rooms with damage that he wanted to ignore. It took bringing in an engineer and threatening further action to get a reasonable settlement. His approach to a major hurricane loss was unacceptable.
