Reviews for Jason Roberts
4 reviews from homeowners and contractors
We had significant flooding in our basement after a heavy storm, but Jason pretty much told us we were out of luck. He cited flood exclusions and was not helpful in guiding us on what might be covered. Even for items that were arguably covered, he was unresponsive. Every call went to voicemail. In the end, we paid for almost everything ourselves. I understand policy limits, but the lack of help or empathy was upsetting.
I interacted with Jason on a hail damage job for a client. At first, he missed a lot of damaged trim and vents in his report. After I submitted a supplement with a detailed list and photos, he did come back and got the insurer to cover most of the overlooked damages. The final outcome was acceptable, but it took extra rounds of supplements to get there. He wasn't the worst adjuster I've seen, but initially he definitely underestimated the scope.
I worked as a public adjuster opposite Jason Roberts on a fire claim, and it was exasperating. Jason's estimate omitted major fire and smoke damage that was clearly documented. He seemed unwilling to negotiate until we involved a supervisor. From a professional standpoint, his handling of the fire loss was unacceptable.
Jason Roberts was our insurance adjuster for a severe hailstorm claim, and we are very dissatisfied. He rushed through the inspection and claimed our roof's hail dents were cosmetic. Our claim was basically denied despite obvious damage. We feel completely let down by this adjuster's lack of thoroughness.
